    Laurel's Amtrak station was built in 1913 in the heart of downtown by the New Orleans and Northeastern Railroad companies. This National Registered Historic Place is still in service today. The Laurel High School Choir delighted the crowd with Christmas Carols and Laurel Ballet Academy danced beautifully to welcome in the Christmas spirit!
