Ed's Burger Joint, owned by renowned Chef Robert St John and located in the heart of
midtown, is a burger lovers' paradise. With buns delivered every morning at the crack of dawn
from local bakeries and hand portion patties so perfectly marbled, it is truly a match made in
burger heaven. Their menu is fit to satisfy the toughest of burger connoisseurs, ranging from the
classic cheeseburger to mushroom Swiss and Southern BBQ ranch, all the way to my personal
favorite, Ed's house-made bacon jam burger. You might ask, what goes best with one of
these savory and juicy American classics? You guessed it, an old-fashioned, in-house churned,
large, in-charge milkshake! Vanilla and chocolate will always be a staple, but Chef Robert
never settles for less; flavors from Cap'n Crunch, banana pudding, and my all-time favorite:
Shipleys's Donut Milkshake, blended with Hattiesburg's #1 local donut, baked at the source and
delivered every morning, is genuinely a milkshake you can get nowhere else besides Ed's!
So bring your appetite, bring a smile, and take a stroll into Ed's Burger Joint, or as I like to call it,
    burger heaven!

Italian cuisine that feels high-scale with waiters in t-shirts: that's something we can all get behind! Whether you're in jeans or your Sunday best, you'll fit in at Tabella. The lunch specials are too good to pass up, and no matter when, take it from me, order the Chicken Picatta.

Ed's Burger Joint, located east of I-59 on Hardy Street between Starbucks and Crescent City Grill is a fun and delicious burger establishment. Ed's Burger Joint is a notch above par in the burger world of Hattiesburg. Their buns are handmade every morning at the Breadsmith Bakery located directly across the street, their patties are ground in house every morning, never frozen Certified Angus Chuck. Their side choices include french and sweet potato fries, onion rings that are cut fresh daily, never frozen.

Just a few of their delicious and over sized burgers include; the classic Bacon Cheese Burger with American cheese and applewood smoked bacon, the Jam Burger which contains fresh local bacon jam, grilled onions, and cheddar cheese, the Ed's Deluxe which includes the infamous Ed's grill sauce, the scrumptious El Magooey which is stuffed with in-house Ed's pimento cheese, and the two heavyweight contenders... The Heavy Eddie (two patties sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches topped with American cheese,
grilled onions, and Ed's Grilled sauce) and the Fat Ed (fatter than you think, same as the
Heavy Eddie except with three patties and added with nacho cheese and Texas style chili). Their
sandwiches are just as appetizing as the burgers, the yardbird Sandwich which is fried with bacon, grilled onions, pepper jack and Ed's Grill Sauce, the Flat-Top Pig is a beef hotdog, ham, bacon, and cheese between Texas toast. Even their legendary milkshakes are made with real ice cream, whole milk, and some influenced by local establishments. For example, the Shipley's Donut Milkshake is made with fresh Shipley's donuts. Tabella Italian Restaurant is not your average Italian restaurant, but a locally owned establishment on Hardy Street, east of Highway 59. To start things off, who doesn't like fresh pasta? Tabella is known for their 'in-house' made pasta. Yes, all pastas are made from scratch in house. These pastas are paired with strict Italian influenced chicken, salmon, shrimp, steak, veal, and don't forget about the homemade meatballs! All seafood items are fresh from the Gulf and paired with Italian influenced sauces such as lemon-butter caper, basil-pesto alfredo, and many more.

Make sure not to skip out on the appetizers and desserts, ranging from but not limited to, fresh crispy portabello strips, hand stuffed toasted ravioli, and fresh hand breaded flash fried calamari to in-house deserts such as triple chocolate coppa and my personal favorite, the all mighty tiramisu. Tabella also serves a phenomenal Sunday brunch with an Italian twist such as biscuits with Italian sausage gravy and a breakfast lasagna with $3 Mimosas and $5 Bloody Mary's.

Whether you're looking for a great Italian date night or a change for Sunday brunch, Tabella is
the place for you! They are located at 3720 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39402, phone

Crescent City Grill, located east of Highway 59 on Hardy Street, has been a Hattiesburg fine dining classic for over 25 years. Crescent City Grill has been awarded one of "Mississippi's Top Ten Restaurants". The owner, Robert St. John, created Crescent City Grill to be strictly inspired by the New Orleans atmosphere, culture, and most importantly, cuisine. Appetizer dishes to die for at Crescent City Grill include; fresh Gulf BBQ Shrimp and Grits, Blackened Shrimp Pie baked in an in-house light pastry, my favorite...the in-house handmade Crabmeat wontons stuffed with fresh Gulf crab meat and rich cream cheese flash fried to perfection.

Their soups, salads and sandwiches make for the ultimate lunch combo which include; the house specialty Corn & Crab Bisque, the signature Sensation Salad served with a house made white wine vinaigrette, and my favorite sandwich, "The Swamp Thing" served with fresh Gulf shrimp, caramelized onions, and an in-house seafood remoulade sauce.

The New Orleans inspired entrees include, but are not limited to; in-house hand stuffed Seafood Crepes, the hand cut 12 oz Choice Certified Angus Beef Ribeye served with authentic french fried tobacco onions, The Mardi Gras pasta with all the freshest seafood ingredients that New Orleans has to offer bathed in a light seafood cream sauce, grilled catch of the day (Crescent City serves over 18,000 lbs of Finfish a year, you can't go wrong with any of the fresh catches) served with a choice of house Pontchartrain or Orleans toppings, and my favorite the Eggplant Orleans which is two crispy lightly fried eggplant halves sandwiching generous amounts of fresh crab meat, gulf shrimp, brie and Romano cheese, mushrooms, and a succulent creole cream sauce.

That my friends is less than a quarter of the menu, the rest you will have to enjoy for yourselves! Come to Hattiesburg and enjoy an amazing New Orleans dining experience. Located at 3810 Hardy Street in Hattiesburg.
