The little blue house started as a restaurant, Blue Daze, and it was Vance and Kim Daly's date spot. Throughout this season of their lives, the Daly's had been praying for the Lord to help them expand His kingdom. Little did they know, it would begin with a homeless dishwasher. They showed him hospitality, love, and Jesus. And turns out, this homeless dishwasher worked at Blue Daze. The restaurant was later converted into City Hall Cheesecake, and it was originally owned by Ron and Diane Bishop.

Over the next year, God began softening Kim's heart towards the homeless, and the Daly's began their ministry: Love Works 25:40. Their home was a revolving door for people in need. The Daly's helped each person tie up the loose ends of their lives and invested in their futures. The biggest struggle was finding long-term employment for people in their ministry. When the opportunity arose to purchase City Hall Cheesecake, Vance and Kim jumped; And God blessed their ministry with a workplace. The Daly's never imagined this journey, and it all started in the little blue house. The business opened with just two employees and one location and has grown into 37 employees and three locations. They truly are a ministry first and a business second.
