My love for real estate goes back to the very first house that my husband and I purchased after we got married (30 years ago!). We loved the challenge of making it our own and realized then what a good investment real estate could be. But we had kids to raise, and I had a career in sales and marketing that I loved for many years, so the time wasn’t right for me to pursue this career change until we became empty nesters recently!
I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Marketing and Management. My background is very diverse, and I have enjoyed learning about the different industries I have worked in: consumer products, print advertising, logistics, and beauty. I have worked for several Fortune 500 companies as well as some smaller companies and learned so many valuable skills in each! One of the best compliments I ever received in my professional life was “You’re the most resourceful person I have ever known” – I am truly humbled by that and will dedicate each and every ounce of that resourcefulness to satisfying my real estate clients!
There are many things I am passionate about, but my family is at the very top of that list! They include my husband Mike, son Branum, 28, daughter-in-law Allison, 29, daughter Avery, 23, pug Butters, 5, and dachshund Gulliver, 5. You'll see Butters featured as my mascot in most of my advertising. As you may guess, another thing I’m passionate about is fur-family. We are advocates of and actively participate in dog rescue and transport. We’ve always had multiple dogs and cats through the years, and some might even consider me a Crazy Pug Lady!
