Every tip or donation they receive will be given to the 3rd Annual Vernon Perry & Robert Brazil Bike Giveaway to help fight obesity in Mississippi and to buying bicycles for children in Jackson to get them moving and having fun. Seminars and demos from landscape experts will help you get a jump on your gardening this year. There's even an area for the kids! There will also be door prizes and a chance for a free tomato plant for the first 100 people in the door.

Movie in the art garden at the MS Museum of Art will be this Thursday, March 17 beginning at dusk. There will be a cash bar and snacks for purchase at 5:30 p.m. The film is presented by the museum and the Crossroads Film Society, so the cost of the movie is free to the public!

The Legal Beagle 5K is a great flat and fast course that begins on Old Canton Road at Brecon Drive and ends beside the I-55 Kroger on Jacksonian Plaza. The proceeds for this run/walk/fun run will benefit the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project. You may register the day of the race in the parking lot of the Regions Bank beside the I-55 Kroger between the post office and old Krystal. This event will be held Saturday, March 12 at 8:15 a.m. Cost is $25 for the 5K run/walk and $15 for fun run. See you there!
