Rainbow Co-op, which used to be a staple in Fondren, is no longer in business in that area. The building will soon be used to house a new fitness center! Be on the lookout for Spring 2019!

Fondren After Five happens each first Thursday of the month in the Fondren District of Jackson! This is a family friendly event that hosts live entertainment, art and craft vendors, pet adoption drives and food and beverage vendors.

New Town Center in Belhaven will begin construction later this fall! Visitors can expect urban retail and restaurants, with Campbell's Bakery in the works to add a new donut shop!

Put on your red shoes and come celebrate with The Ronald McDonald House as the 2017 Red Shoe Soiree will be raising money to benefit this amazing charity. The event begins Friday, January 20th at 7:30 p.m. and will feature The Compozitionz Band, food, beer, and wine, all included with your $50 admission ticket that may be purchased by clicking the attached link! Fondren's First Thursday, put on by Studio Chane, is a huge event featuring local artists, musicians, designers and doers. Every month, FFT brings 5,000 plus attendees to the streets of Fondren. This happening appeals to all-ages and is a family and pet friendly event. Come visit the historic business district while enjoying live music, local art, gallery openings, live mural walls, local organizations, and become part of the community.

The Hillbilly Watermelon Race will be the highlight of this month's FFT. Race begins at 7:30 p.m. and it's guaranteed to be a hilariously good time! Check out the link to find out more!

Saturday, October 3, from 3 p.m.-10 p.m. Lucky Town's Lucktoberfest Marzen will be served on the patio and they will be featuring Oktoberfest plates like beer-boiled bratwurst, soft rye pretzels, German potato salad, schnitzel, sauerkraut, and Lucky Town's favorite beer mustard. Live music will be enjoyed as well as a stein hoisting competition.
