    McCleod State Park is located on the Jordan River in Kiln, MS. It has so many amenities, and it is well maintained year round. It has great camper and RV accommodations including paved spots, bathrooms/showers, dump stations, and laundry facilities. There are hiking/nature trails, boat launches, great birding and fishing areas. You can rent canoes, kayaks, or other fun watercraft for the day. McCleod also has great events lined up for Halloween and other holidays. They really make it a great place to stay and/or visit.

    Kiln is the home of Brett Favre and this quiet little area has been growing in leaps and bounds. The newest construction going on in our area is Ward's. Although we have several wonderful restaurants here, this is the first "fast food" chain.

    Muddy Joe's is the Kiln's newest attraction. It features 35 acres of park (including RV spots, cabins and tent camping) and over 600 acres of off-road trail riding, pits and bogs. You can bring your own ATV or rent one there. If you are not covered in mud, then you are doing it wrong! Muddy Joe's also has a calendar of events which include crawfish boils, concerts, and the ATV Mudfest (their biggest event). Their future expansion plans include restaurant, zip lines and various excursions. This is definitely a place to come and let loose for the day or weekend.
