    I have lived in Oak Grove for 15 years and have found it to be the best of both worlds. It's close to everything, yet just out from the hustle and bustle. There are plenty of great neighborhoods in Oak Grove such as Canebrake, LePapillon, Backwater, Bent Creek, Sandstone, and Bridgefield just to name a few. All of these neighborhoods have good amenities yet modest HOA fees. Many people are attracted to the Oak Grove area because of lower taxes and good schools. Most of the properties I sell are located in Oak Grove simply because so many of my buyer clients request Oak Grove.

    Right off of Jackson Road by the Long Leaf Trace is a fenced in field that you can bring your dog to run around and play in! Barktopia Dog Park in Hattiesburg is a great place to bring your dog for some fun and exercise. The wide open field has plenty of room for your dog to run and chase a Frisbee or tennis ball. You can also come and sit under the nice gazebo while your dog plays with other dogs. The kiddie pools are a perfect way for your dog to cool off if they want. The two fields are separated so that large dogs can play with other large dogs, and the small dogs can play with other small dogs! The people there are sure to welcome you and your dog with open arms!
