Jolimar is the perfect place to have a beautiful conservative wedding. This scenery is located in the country part of Summit, MS on over 100 acres of land. The bride can choose to exchange vows outside or inside a two story home. This is an excellent site for a getaway weekend in privacy. There are acres and acres of hills, forest, and beautiful landscaping. This site is also a good place for a formal party or reception. Justins on the Lake is a nice seafood restaurant to take your family for dinner. The business is open Thursday-Saturday from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. There is a large variety of foods to select entrees from. Selections to choose are whole or fillet catfish, shrimp, oysters, fries, gumbo, salad bar, etc. This wooden framed restaurant is very southern style and actually sitting on a lake.The next time you are in Summit, MS stop by and check out this delicious food. It is um-mm good.

Southwest Community College is the perfect junior college for seniors to look into attending. It is located in a safe environment in Summit, MS and located minutes from North Pike schools. This college has several associate degree programs to attend. The Nursing program is a major program that several freshman choose to adventure into. The vocational building also has several careers such has CDL licensing programs, cosmetology and barber courses, certified nursing assistant programs, etc. The campus also has 24 hour security which helps parents rest better knowing that someone is on patrol at all times to help protect their young adults. The campus also has an excellent administration team that helps get these students started on their college journey.

I was in Summit the other day. As I was walking down the street I saw the mayor of Summit, Percy Robinson. He was stopping by the stores on Main Street asking if there was anything the owners need from the city. The small town mom and pop stores in Summit makes this town a great place to shop and to live.

Dixie Springs Café is located in Summit, MS next to Dixie Springs Lake. It is one of my favorite places to eat in the Pike County area. My appetizer favorite is the Crawfish Dip with Toast Rounds. I get it each and every time I go, but be prepared, it''s "hot". Their Steak Oscar topped with crabmeat and hollandaise sauce is pretty great too. The restaurant has a unique and beautiful environment in the bar area, which is my favorite place to sit. If you're in the area, it's a "must" place to eat!
